You must not create more than one account per person or business, additional accounts may be terminated.
You must only register and use a personal account for yourself and not share it with others, unless they are designated to manage your finances, such as an accountant, CFO, parent, guardian or care assistant. You acknowledge that they will have full access as we do not currently support multi-user or role-based access.
You must not register an account to impersonate another person, register an account on behalf of or use the email address of another person without their permission, or falsify any details you choose to provide such as your name.
A private username and email address that is only owned by and known to you may be used for the purposes of anonymity.
All the content on this website and within the OceanBudget software belongs to OceanBudget Ltd except where specified otherwise.
You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any of the material on the website or software.
You agree not use this website for any unlawful purposes or violate any laws in your jurisdiction related to use of this software.
You agree not to disrupt, attack, expose, harm, exploit, inject, inspect, probe, DDoS, reduce the performance of, or hack the website, software, servers or databases.
You agree to immediately and exclusively inform OceanBudget Ltd if any security flaw is found.
You agree not to use any third party software, tools or any mechanisms to gather, download or view data in the software.
For any data you input, submit or upload to the software, you grant us permission to use for the purpose of providing our services until such data is deleted or removed.
You agree that OceanBudget Ltd shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, deaths, loss of profit, financial decisions, or any other losses as a result of using the software.
You agree that any recommendations, analysis and advice provided by our software is as-is and not a replacement or alternative to a certified financial advisor.
You agree to take reasonable security precautions before and during use of the software, examples including but not limited to access via unsecured networks, public wifi, failure to enable 2FA, poor password strength, viruses, keyloggers, spyware etc. OceanBudget Ltd cannot be held responsible for any security breach or loss of data as a result of external factors out of our control.
We reserve the right to terminate, suspend or restrict access to your account for any reason without notice.
Although we offer a limited free service, we reserve the right to charge for or change of prices of any of our services in future. You are responsible for ensuring fees and invoices related to use of this software are legally paid along with all applicable taxes.
You must not commit any acts of fraud or use illegaly obtained money to pay for our service.
Personal and business-only usage must remain separate. Business users must declare at registration that the software will be used for business. Naturally, business users may be charged more for use of our services. We reserve the right to suspend, terminate or invoice any account that does not comply with intended use of the software specified at registration. Personal users are welcome to add business-related accounts for purpose of calculating their net worth, however a personal account cannot be used by a business to exclusively manage the finances of that business and vice versa.

We reserve the right to comply and share your information or data with law enforcement agencies if requested. However, we will only ever share information or data with third parties such as law enforcement agencies if we are strictly legally required to do so.
We may but will only monitor your account or data without your knowledge if we believe you are in violation of our terms or it is required by the law. For any other reason, we will never do so without your permission.
We cannot guaruntee total anonymity if the email address or username you choose are associated with your personal identity.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OCEANBUDGET LTD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OUR RELATING TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATIONS, DAMAGES FROM THE LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA OR PROGRAMS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF OCEANBUDGET LTD KNOWS OR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
