We do not require personal details. Supplying your name, timezone, location and currency is optional.
We may use your email address to send you information regarding your account, important information regarding OceanBudget, for marketing purposes limited to OceanBudget and our partners, or for our optional newsletter.
We may store your IP address at registration and during use of the software for purposes of fraud detection, authentication to protect your security, and protection against malicious activity.
We may store your use agent string to help us to determine your device type, operating system type and version, and internet browser type and version. This is to ensure our services function correctly and for security.
We may use cookies to remember your login status, to track anonymous information with the purpose of improving our service, for statistical analysis to improve our service, to personalize your profile, or to track performance of our advertising.
You may change your email address or password at any time by clicking the dropdown in the top right of the software and selecting "Account".
There is currency no facility to change your username, please contact us if you wish to do so.
We will not disclose your information to any third party except where it is required by law, or if we believe your account is being used to commit unlawful acts.
Your connection to OceanBudget is always via secure 256-bit SSL.
Your transaction data is strongly encrypted in storage.
Our servers are locked away and physically secure.
We never ask for, require or store your bank login details.
We don’t require personally-identifiable information.
We provide security methods to protect your account such as two-factor authentication (2FA).
We provide the facility to opt-out of our optional marketing communications, which are CAN-SPAM compliant.
You reserve the right to delete any content you provide to the software at any time. Please get in touch if you would like us to delete your account via support[at]oceanbudget[dot]com. No refund will be provided as a result of account termination, but any related subscription will be cancelled.
